Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using COMBb2 ("Service"), operated by bee2.io LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Age eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

COMBb2 is a browser-based image processing suite that provides 16 tools:

• AI image upscaling (super resolution)
• AI deblurring
• Denoising
• Image enhancement
• Photo retouching
• Background removal
• Image compression
• Format conversion
• Colorization
• Sharpening
• Filters
• Face blur
• Watermarking
• HEIC conversion
• Image-to-PDF
• Metadata stripping

All processing occurs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server. AI models run locally using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and Web Workers. You may use the tools without signing in, but account registration is required to save and download processed images.

COMBb2 operates on a freemium model. The Free plan provides access to all 16 tools with up to 2 saves per day. The Pro plan ($4.99/month) provides unlimited saves per day. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Accounts and Registration

To save and download processed images, you must create an account. Accounts can be created via email (using a 6-digit one-time passcode) or Google sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

COMBb2 offers two plans:

• Free Plan: Access to all 16 tools with up to 2 saves per day. No payment required.
• Pro Plan: $4.99/month. Unlimited saves per day across all 16 tools.

Auto-renewal: Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the beginning of each billing cycle.

Billing: All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a Pro subscription, you are purchasing from Paddle.com Market Limited (for non-US buyers) or Paddle.com Inc (for US buyers). Paddle handles all billing, payment processing, tax calculation, and invoicing on our behalf.

Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions continue at the current rate until the next renewal after the notice period.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Account page or via Paddle's subscription management link.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain Pro access until then. If you are within the 14-day refund window, you may instead request an immediate refund (see Section 6).

After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan (2 saves per day).

6. Refund Policy

14-day satisfaction guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 days of any charge (initial subscription or renewal), no questions asked.

To request a refund within the 14-day window, use the "Request Refund" button on your Account page. The refund is processed automatically — your subscription is cancelled immediately and the payment is refunded to your original payment method. Refund processing typically takes 3–5 business days.

Refunds are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment reversals and customer service inquiries related to billing.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to process images you do not have the right to use or modify
• Use the Service to create, enhance, or distribute illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
• Use the Service to generate deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive or harm others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the website
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations through your use of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the website code, user interface, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by bee2.io LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of:

• All images you process using the Service
• All output images generated by the Service

We claim no rights over your images or the processed results. Since all processing occurs in your browser, we never have access to your content.

AI Models

COMBb2 uses open-source AI models (including but not limited to ESRGAN and NAFNet) for image processing. These models are subject to their respective open-source licenses. The use of these models within COMBb2 is licensed for personal and commercial use of the processed output images.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 "AS IS" Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, bee2.io LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantee of Results

AI-based image processing produces approximate results. We do not warrant or guarantee that:

• Processing results will meet your expectations or requirements
• AI enhancement will accurately recover details from degraded images
• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all browsers and devices
• Output images will be suitable for any particular purpose

9.3 AI Deblurring Limitations

The AI Deblur tool uses a lightweight neural network (NAFNet) that runs entirely in your browser. You acknowledge and accept the following limitations:

• Mild-to-moderate blur only: The tool is designed for subtle camera shake, slight motion blur, and soft focus. Heavy or severe blur (e.g., fast-moving subjects, extreme camera shake, completely out-of-focus images) may show limited or no visible improvement
• Cannot recover lost information: AI deblurring approximates what sharp details might look like based on patterns learned during training. It does not and cannot truly recover information that was lost when the image was captured
• Results vary: The quality of results depends on the type, severity, and direction of blur, as well as image content, resolution, and compression. No specific level of improvement is guaranteed
• Not suitable for forensic or evidentiary use: AI-generated details are approximations, not reconstructions. Output should not be relied upon for legal, forensic, medical, or any purpose requiring factual accuracy of image content

9.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL bee2.io LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY INACCURACY OR ERROR IN PROCESSING RESULTS; (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; OR (D) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED TEN U.S. DOLLARS ($10.00). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless bee2.io LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Service
• Your use of processed images in violation of any law or third-party rights
• Any third-party claim arising from content you create using the Service

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. In summary: your images are processed entirely in your browser and never leave your device. We collect only the minimal account data (email address, usage counts) necessary to provide the Service.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Massachusetts. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS SHALL BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

14. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy (Section 6), constitute the entire agreement between you and bee2.io LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements concerning the subject matter hereof.
