Why We Built COMBb2
Every time you use an online image tool, your photos are uploaded to someone else's server. Product photos, headshots, personal snapshots, screenshots with sensitive information - all of it passes through third-party infrastructure where it can be logged, cached, analyzed, or breached.
We built COMBb2 to prove that powerful image tools don't need your data. All 16 tools - from AI upscaling to background removal to metadata stripping - run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and on-device neural networks. Your files never leave your device. There is no upload endpoint, no server-side processing, and no data retention.
This isn't a marketing claim - it's an architectural decision. The AI models are downloaded to your browser on first use and execute locally. You can verify this by watching your browser's network tab during processing - there are zero outbound requests.
How On-Device AI Works
Neural Networks in Your Browser
AI models are compiled to WebAssembly and run on your CPU/GPU directly in the browser. No server needed.
Zero Network Requests
During image processing, zero data is sent over the network. Your photos stay in browser memory (RAM) only.
No Data Retention
When you close the tab, all image data is released from memory. Nothing is written to disk or stored anywhere.
Works Offline
After the AI models are cached on first use, tools work without an internet connection.
